    Terms and Conditions

     1. Retainer and Payment. The Clients shall make a Nonrefundable 30 % or ($600.00) retainer fee payment to retain the services specified herein. At such time as this agreement is completed, the Retainer shall be applied to reduce the Total balance. The Clients may choose a payment schedule and shall pay both the second and third payment following the Payment Schedule. All payments made are Nonrefundable. Non-payment of any fees releases iDesign Weddings & Events from any and all obligations defined in this agreement.  _____  _____ 
    2.  Late Payments.  According to the payment schedule set forth in this contract, both Clients agree to pay on time. 
    If applicable, late payments can and will interrupt iDesign Weddings & Events’s services. Furthermore, both Clients agree that if second  or third payment is not received 7 days after scheduled due date, and all outstanding balances 21 days before the event date, clients has breeched contract resulting in termination of iDesign Weddings & Events services. Any late payments are subject to a 10% daily fee.

    3. Cancellation. If Clients shall cancel, iDesign Weddings & Events shall keep the Retainer fee, along with any payments made, all payments are Nonrefundable.  _____  _____ 
    4. Change of Date. If the Client cannot keep the original date as stated in the contract and still wishes to remain in contract with iDesign Weddings & Events. A t that point in time iDesign Weddings & Events needs to be notified immediately and a fee will be charged accordingly for all changes needed for the new date.  _____  _____ 
    5. Verbal Agreements.  In order to avoid any future misunderstandings between both Clients and iDesign Weddings & Events, verbal agreements are not allowed at any time. All matters pertaining to the Event will be documented and signed for approval.  _____  _____ 
    6.  Failure to Perform. If iDesign Weddings & Events cannot perform this agreement due to a fire or other casualty, strikes, act of God or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to the Coordinator’s illness, then the Coordinator will designate a competent assistant for the Clients, but shall have no further liability with respect to the Agreement. _____  _____
    7.  Budget costs. Any budget settled between the Coordinator and both Clients on the Detailed invoice schedule, if there are any changes to on the invoice, it will change the budget to increase or decrease.  _____  _____
    8. Additional Fees.  The following duties require additional fees due to the fact that these duties can be time-consuming. Anything not included in the Package will be considered an A La Carte’ and an addendum will be designed and need to be signed prior to any product or services rendered: Rehearsal Dinner Management, Guest Accommodations, Invitation assembling and mailings and Cleaning Duties; etc.  Not applicable in decoration only package._____  _____
    9.  Vendors.  Both Clients agree that iDesign Weddings & Events will be their advocate who works on their behalf to get the best services, quality and prices. iDesign Weddings & Events only acts as a mediator to run interference with vendors. In addition, iDesign Weddings & Events is not responsible for any payments at any time of Vendors for Clients. Not applicable in decoration only package._____   ______  ______
    10.  Clients’ Vendors. Vendors that were chosen independently by Clients can cause complications. iDesign Weddings & Events will not tolerate any issues or complications from such Vendors. In addition, iDesign Weddings & Events shall not be held responsible for the actions of such Vendors, i.e., untimely door/venue openings, improper maintenance of the facilities, unclean/and/or/blocked loading docs, unavailable venue coordinators, unsafe power supply, unsafe storage rooms/facilities at the venue, improper lighting outside or inside.

    11.  Vendor Appointments.  Both Clients agree that the Coordinator allows up to (4) optional Personal Vendor Appointments depending on PACKAGE. Example: Reception/Ceremony Site, Dress Fitting, Photographer & Florist. Not applicable in decoration only package._____   _____  _____
    12.  Late/Absent Vendors: iDesign Weddings & Events shall not be held liable for actions of any recommended Vendors and other Vendors. 
    Example: Flat tire.  _____  _____  _____
    13. Credit Card Payments.  All Credit Card transactions must accompany an authorized signature from Cardholder before any payments are accepted.  Not applicable at this time. _____  _____  _____
    14. Meal.  If the Client’s wedding coverage is five (5) hours or more in length, the Coordinator and Coordinator’s assistant(s) must receive a meal of equal quality to the Client’s meal. Not applicable in decoration only package. _____  _____
    15. Travel Fee.  A Travel Fee will apply for driving 40 miles or more- roundtrip 
    (Any appointments after the 4 optional Vendor appointments/Clients) between location of Coordinator’s place of business and appointments. Also, Client pays for and books a hotel room for Coordinator if necessary. Not applicable in decoration only package. _____  ______
    16.  Planning Services. iDesign Weddings & Events will assist with tying the designated details of the Clients together. iDesign Weddings & Events will also manage and oversee the details for the Ceremony and Reception. The services that will be provided by iDesign Weddings & Events will be selected and outlined in Exhibit A (Attached to this Contract) Not applicable in decoration only package. _____  _____
    18.  Release of Claims.  Both Clients agree and acknowledge that their participation on their Wedding date is on their own accord. Both Clients give this acknowledgement freely and knowingly and are responsible for being physically and mentally fit during the Event and that, as a result, able to participate, and both Clients assume responsibility for their own well-being during the Event. _____  _____
    19. Both Clients are fully aware that possible physical and mental injury might occur to them as a result of their participation, and agree to assume the full risk which is not specifically foreseeable, of any injuries, including death, damages or loss regardless of severity, which either or both Clients may sustain as a result of participating in any and all activities connected with or associated with the Event. _____  _____
    20. In consideration of the right to participate in the Event, both Clients fully release and discharge iDesign Weddings & Events, and their employees, members staff and all individuals assisting in instructing and conducting the Event, from any and all claims resulting from injuries, including death, damages or loss, which may accrue to either or both Clients or Clients heirs arising out of or in any way connected with Clients participation in the Event. _____  _____
    21.  Both Clients give this acknowledgement freely and knowingly and will not hold this company responsible, for late access to their venue for decorations and other preparation work. All backdrops must be 3 feet away from the guests, bathrooms, exit signs. If not done so, Both Clients will not hold iDesign Weddings & Events, responsible for refusing to set up décor that is less minimum measurements required.  _____  _____
    22.  Client must provide an accurate floor plan, no less then 21 days before the event, keeping in mind the backdrops, tables, stairs and exit signs that might be in the way or a hazard to guests. _____  _____
    23.  Release of Claims. Both Clients further agree where as the backdrops must be 3 feet or more away from guest tables and any exits. Where as all the lighting and any other equipments, i.e. columns, tables, must not be moved or adjusted. It is also best in the interest of the clients to hire a professional wedding planner to oversee any aspects of the decoration plan.  _____  _____
    24. iDesign Weddings & Events and it’s employees require the proper work conditions at your choice of venue, such as air conditioning, heating and refrigeration for flowers areas must be used to properly perform its duties. iDesign Weddings & Events, reserves the right to refuse such working conditions. .  _____  _____
    24.   BALANCE OF THIS CONTRACT IS DUE 21 DAYS BEFORE YOUR EVENT, IN CASH, CASHIERS CHECK OR MONEY ORDER, No personal checks. 
    $32.00 CHARGE FOR ALL RETURNED CHECKS AND $12.00 ON UNAVAILABLE CREDIT CARD FUNDS TRANSACTIONS. YOU MAY WISH TO MAKE MONTHLY/WEEKLY PAYMENTS TWORDS YOUR BALANCE AT ANY TIME BY MAIL. _____  _____
